Background

MSI Taiwan faced the massive challenge of producing display banners for a global audience, spanning Southeast Asia, Europe, and beyond. This task involved creating 13 banner sizes for each region, multiplied by 8 languages, with localized offers tailored for each market. For an e-commerce brand operating on a global scale, managing a campaign of this magnitude—across multiple sizes, languages, and variations—was time-consuming and labor-intensive.

To address this challenge, MSI turned to Dipp Studio Co-Pilot, an innovative solution designed to automate and simplify creative production for e-commerce campaigns.

The old process: Manual and inefficient for e-commerce demands

In e-commerce, speed and efficiency are essential to staying competitive. However, MSI’s traditional banner production process was slow and heavily dependent on manual labor. While localized messaging was prepared in advance, the adaptation phase required significant manual effort:

  • Text blocks and logos: Each banner required adjustments for both horizontal and vertical layouts to ensure proper composition.

  • Multiple variations: Every language and regional offer needed customized banners, adding to the workload.

This approach made scaling for e-commerce campaigns across multiple markets inefficient and resource-intensive.

The new process: Automating e-commerce campaign production

To meet the demands of e-commerce, MSI adopted Dipp’s Studio Co-Pilot, which streamlined what was once an overwhelming task. Here’s how the transformation happened:

Step 1: Grouping banner sizes by proportion
The production team categorized banners by proportion, enabling shared compositions for similar-sized banners. This simple step cut down the effort needed for design adaptation.

Step 2: Preparing multi-orientation elements
All banner elements, including text blocks, product logos, and key visuals, were prepared in horizontal and vertical orientations. This ensured optimal visual composition across diverse banner formats, a critical aspect of e-commerce marketing.

Step 3: Automating variable content
The visuals across regions were consistent, with the only differences being the headlines. Using Dipp’s spreadsheet-to-image feature, the headlines (variables) were bulk-applied to all banners, accommodating every language and regional offer with a simple upload CSV file action.

Step 4: Streamlined file naming and downloading
Dipp’s custom file naming feature generated customized file names for every variation from the CSV file accordingly. This eliminated the need for manual naming, further saving time—a crucial factor in e-commerce campaigns.

The results: A game-changer for e-commerce campaigns

MSI achieved unprecedented results by switching to Dipp’s automated workflow. What previously took weeks of manual effort was now completed in a fraction of the time. The process enabled MSI to produce a global, multi-sized, multi-lingual e-commerce campaign efficiently, delivering speed, accuracy, and consistency across all markets.

For MSI, this wasn’t just about saving time; it marked a shift in how global e-commerce brands could approach creative production, proving that automation is the key to scaling in competitive markets.

Conclusion: Dipp Studio Co-Pilot—The future of e-commerce creative production

E-commerce brands like MSI need innovative solutions to handle the complexities of global campaigns. Dipp Studio Co-Pilot offers a streamlined, automated process that saves time and reduces errors, allowing brands to focus on delivering impactful visuals that drive conversions.

As the e-commerce industry continues to grow, tools like Dipp are becoming indispensable for global brands seeking efficiency and scalability in their creative workflows.
